Monstrance watch

The monstrance clock (also: mirror clock ) was a popular type of clock of the Renaissance, which was built between 1500 and 1650. It is a table clock, the case of which was made in the form of a monstrance and consisted of chased bronze and chased , partly gold-plated copper or brass sheet. At the beginning of the 17th century, the center of production was the southern German area around Augsburg .
