The Mont des Géants ( French for the mountain of giant petrels ) is a 30 m high mountain in the center of the Pétrel Island in the Géologie archipelago off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland .
French scientists named the mountain in 1977. It is the last remaining refuge for the giant petrel on the island.
