Monday Youth and Society Foundation

The Montag Foundation for Youth and Society is a non-profit and operational foundation named after Carl Richard Montag and based in the Bonn district of Gronau , which was founded in 1998. Board members are Meike Kricke and Barbara Pampe.

The Montag Foundation Youth and Society is one next to the Montag Foundation art and society , the Montag Foundation Urban Spaces and the Carl Richard Montag Foundation for the group of Montag Foundation . All Montag foundations work independently within the framework of their statutory requirements.

The long-term financing of all foundation initiatives is guaranteed by the Carl Richard Montag Förderstiftung . She is the owner of the foundation's assets and, as a partner in real estate companies, pursues the founder's ideal mission over the long term.

Goals and work areas

One focus of the foundation's work is the support and bundling of initiatives in education and upbringing that are committed to inclusive pedagogy . They should contribute to a new educational landscape that establishes diversity and participation as the basis of the social community.

Activities include our own and cooperation projects, seminars , conferences and workshops , a series of publications and cooperation with universities and other public national and international institutions.

Project examples

  • Index for Inclusion - Regional Education Initiative: Support for day-care centers and schools of all school types through moderation and advice. The aim is to establish the index for inclusion as an action-guiding tool for inclusive education .
  • Einszueins seminar series: training and further education offer from different creative and educational areas. The series is part of the study portfolio "Educational Aid and Social Work" at the Chair of Educational Assistance at the University of Cologne .
  • Contributions to social aesthetics: series of publications on social issues.
