Monterrey Consensus
The Monterrey Consensus is the result of the United Nations International Conference on Financing for Development Cooperation held from March 18-22, 2002 in Monterrey , Mexico . In addition to government delegations, the participants included envoys from the United Nations , the International Monetary Fund ( IMF ), the World Bank , the World Trade Organization ( WTO ) and representatives from private and civil society. It is one of the first conferences at which UN development finance was discussed.
