Monty Holmes

Country singer Monty Holmes (* in Lubbock , Texas ) began as a songwriter in 1994. He has written for George Strait , John Michael Montgomery and Lee Ann Womack , among others . Some of his songs were able to place in the country top ten. In 1998 he received a contract with the newly founded label Bang II Records . In the same year the CD All I Ever Wanted was produced, which was largely based on self-written material.

The record company only survived a year. Together with Jeff Hale, Charlie Harrison and Billy Hillman, Holmes then founded the group Monty & The Pytons . In 2002 the album Real Thing was released.
