As of July 1, 2019, there were a total of 798 buildings in the North Department , all or part of which (only facade, bell tower of a church or portal, etc.) were listed as Monument historique .

Of the 648 municipalities in the north department, 211 have at least one monument historique and 437 municipalities have no monument historique.

The classification of movable objects as monument historique, such as sculptures (see: Category: Monument historique (sculpture) ), church windows (see: Category: Monument historique (stained glass) ), baptismal fonts (see: Category: Monument historique (baptismal font) ) and others are not included here.
