Moore Ridge is the northernmost ridge of the Caudal Hills in East Antarctic Victoria Land .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after Bruce F. Moore (1941-2009), aerial photographer of the Navy flight squadron VX -6 at McMurdo Station in 1966.
