Mordecai Ezekiel
Mordecai Ezekiel (born May 10, 1899 in Richmond , Virginia , † October 31, 1974 in Washington, DC ) was an American agricultural economist . Together with GC Haas he described the pig cycle from 1925 .
Between 1930 and 1947 he worked as an economist in senior positions in the American Department of Agriculture. From 1947 to 1962 he worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), from 1962 to 1967 for the United States Agency for International Development .
