More Than Words

More Than Words is a ballad that American US from the 1991 Radio Metal - band Extreme was released. The song was written in 1990 by Nuno Bettencourt and Gary Cherone , who recorded the song single-handedly.

Gary Cherone sings the text of the ballad while he is accompanied by Nuno Bettencourt on an acoustic guitar. Other instruments such as drums or electric guitar are completely dispensed with. Instead, the 2nd and 4th beats hit the guitar strings. The original key of the piece is F sharp major. While the stanzas are unanimous, there is a lower voice in the chorus, sung by Nuno Bettencourt.
