More and More is a song by Jerome David Kern (music) and Yip Harburg (lyrics) released in 1944.

Core and Harburg wrote More and More for the film The Song of the Golden West (original title Can not Help Singing. , Directed by Frank Ryan, with 1944) Deanna Durbin , Robert Paige and Akim Tamiroff in the lead roles. The soprano Deanna Durbin is the song in the movie; at the end of the film, Durbin and Paige sing More and More as part of a medley (with the songs Californ-i-ay and Can't Help Singing ). The song More and More received an Oscar nomination for Best Song in 1946 .

Deanna Durbin's studio version of the song More and More, accompanied by the Edgar Fairchild Orchestra, appeared on Brunswick 03570, coupled with Any Moment Now, later on the Coral album Can't Help Singing. As early as 1944, the first cover versions of the song were made in recordings by the swing orchestras of Frankie Carle , George Paxton , Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey , whose version (vocals: Bonnie Lou Williams; Victor 20-1614) reached # 10 on the US charts. 1945/46 recorded Mildred Bailey , Anita Ellis, Charlie Barnet , Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman on the film song; in the 1950s interpreted him a. a. Perry Como , Lionel Hampton , Johnny Duncan and the Dukes of Dixieland .
