The Morgan Aero 8 is a sports car from the British car manufacturer Morgan , which is sold as a coupe and a roadster . The first generation was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2000 and sales began in 2001. With this model, Morgan broke with tradition and introduced modern production methods. Instead of a ladder frame with a plywood base and a composite structure (ash frame with nailed steel or aluminum sheet parts), the Aero 8 has a glued and riveted aluminum monocoque with attached body parts, also made of aluminum, in a modern retro style . The chassis is also new, with double wishbones on all wheels.
