Morgan Fisher (born January 1, 1950 in London ) is a British keyboardist . He was a member of The Love Affair , British Lions and Mott the Hoople .

Career

Between 1968 and 1970 Fisher played organ in the band The Love Affair , with whom he had a 1968 number one hit, "Everlasting Love". In 1972 he played with Tim Staffell , the singer of the previous band of Queen , in the progressive rock group Morgan and released two albums.

Between 1973 and 1976 he was a member of the band Mott the Hoople , which was produced by David Bowie . In Great Britain several recordings reached the top ten charts. In the following years he ran a music studio and record label. In 1982 he played keyboard for Queen on their European tour. In 1985 he moved to Japan, where he wrote and arranged music for television. He also worked as a photographer and presented his pictures in exhibitions. In 2005 he recorded an album with the German musician Hans-Joachim Roedelius .
