Moritz Plescher (born October 4, 2000 ) is a German basketball player .

career

Plescher, son of the former German national basketball player Birgit Plescher , played as a teenager for the Mettmann Sport club and for the Metropol Baskets Ruhr community. In the 2016/17 season he stayed at Copley High School in the US state of Ohio and switched to Brose Bamberg's junior division in the 2017/18 season , and made his debut for Bamberg's FC Baunach training team in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA in September 2018 . He was used in 16 ProA games in the 2018/19 season and scored an average of 1.4 points per game, but missed relegation with the Baunachers.

In the 2019/2020 season he made the leap into the Bundesliga line-up of Brose Bamberg , in March 2020 he  made his debut in the top German division against Alba Berlin .
