Moritz "Mo" Sckaer (born February 26, 1986 ) is a former German baseball player ( pitcher ). In his active career he wore the number "9" at the Cologne Cardinals . For the 2011 season he moved from Cologne to the Bonn Capitals .

He played from 1996 to 2004 for the North Rhine-Westphalia selection and since 2010 for the German men's national baseball team. His teammates Dirk Fries and Markus Gienger are also active there. At the European Championships in 2010 he was able to take third place with the German team.

He throws in his position as a pitcher with his right arm. As a batter he is also right-handed .

In addition to baseball, he studied media and communication sciences in the United States and completed these courses with a bachelor's degree. He currently lives and works in Cologne.
