Moritz Stefaner (2010)

Moritz Stefaner is a German expert in data visualization . He works for the OECD , the World Economic Forum , Skype , dpa and the Max Planck Society , among others . Stefaner has repeatedly won the Kantar Information is Beautiful Prize . His data visualizations have been exhibited at the Venice Biennale and Ars Electronica . Stefan's contributions can be found in Beautiful Visualization (a publication by Springer) and interviews with him can be found in the books New Challenges for Data Design and Alberto Cairo's The functional art.

One of Stefan's best-known works is the visualization of the OECD Better Life Index . His installation On Broadway , his work for FIFA, and the design of the OECD portal are also known.

With Enrico Bertini, Stefaner produces the podcast Data Stories . Stefaner studied Cognitive Science (B.Sc., University of Osnabrück ) and Interface Design (MA, University of Applied Sciences Potsdam ). He lives in Lilienthal .
