Morungaba , officially Portuguese Município da Estância Climática de Morungaba , is a town in the Brazilian state of São Paulo . In 2018, an estimated 13,458 people lived in Morungaba. The village is 146.75 km² and is at an average altitude of 765 m. The name comes from the Tupi language . Morungababa is one of 12 places in the state of São Paulo with the status of a climatic health resort.
