The Mosaik Steinchen für Steinchen Verlag (official spelling: MOSAIK Steinchen für Steinchen Verlag ) is a German publisher based in Berlin . It emerged from an advertising agency in 1991 in order to continue running the traditional comic magazine Mosaik with the heroes Abrafaxe after the former GDR publishing house Junge Welt was liquidated by the Treuhandanstalt . The publishing rights for the mosaic stories with the predecessor characters of Abrafaxe, the Digedags , were taken over by the book publisher Junge Welt, which was initially a subsidiary of Tessloff Verlag and was finally fully integrated into Tessloff Verlag in 2006.

In addition to the monthly series of issues, the Mosaik-Verlag also publishes albums, novels and radio plays with the Abrafaxes. In addition, the Zack magazine has been appearing since 1999, the successor to the West German comic magazine of the same name, which was published by Koralle Verlag until 1980 . In addition, Mosaik published a complete edition of Fix and Fax .
