Life

His father Jerachmiel Elijahu Botschko (1892? –1956) founded the Yeshiva Etz Chaim in Montreux in 1927 , at which Moshe Botschko, like his father for decades, taught alongside other important teachers as a Torah scholar, shaped generations of Francophone religious-Zionist Judaism and one who laid the foundations for Torah study in Switzerland.

After the death of his father, Moshe Botschko took over the management of the yeshiva around 1956 and transferred it to Israel in 1985, where she has since been active in the neighborhood of Jerusalem under the name "Heichal Elijahu" (named after his father) and has over 200 Talmidim the opportunity to Study there.

Botschko lived and taught there until his death. Heichal Elijahu's successor at the yeshivat was Moshe Botschko's son Shaul David Botschko.
