Moses Nagamootoo (born November 30, 1947 in Whim , British Guiana ) is a Guyanese politician .

Life

Since 1992 he has been a member of the Guyanese National Assembly for the People's Progressive Party (PPP) . He was part of the old guard of the PPP when he left the party in 2011 and joined the Alliance for Change (AFC) party. Nagamootoo has been Prime Minister of Guyana since May 20, 2015, succeeding Sam Hinds . As an author, he published the book Hendree's Cure in 2001 .
