Moss Force

Moss Force (also Newlands Home Waterfall ) is a waterfall in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The waterfall lies in the course of the Keskadale Beck below the Buttermere Moss west of the Robinson Fell and falls down the mountain to the Newlands Pass , from where it is easy to reach.

The waterfall falls in three steps to a total height of 100 m. In winter it is possible to practice ice climbing at the waterfall . The route is also divided into three sections with a difficulty level of WI3 .

The Lake Poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge described the waterfall in a letter to Sara Hutchinson as an image of the "shadow of God and the world."
