The German block

The German Bloc was a right-wing extremist nationalist group that emerged from a split from the Economic Development Association .

The first chairman after it was founded in October 1947 was Karl Meißner . In the state election in Bavaria in 1950 , the German bloc received 0.9% of the vote. After that this group only achieved minor local successes in Regensburg (1952: 3.5%) and in Upper Franconia . In the Bundestag election in 1953 , the German Bloc took part together with other right-wing extremist parties under the name of the umbrella organization of the National Collection (DNS).
