The MOST Mobile Specials GmbH, headquartered in Fürth , Bavaria , is a manufacturer and supplier of special vehicles for road shows, mobile promotions and sales promotion campaigns, be used as a portable exhibition or information desk or as a guest room for lodging and meals of people.

history

Today's MOST Mobile Specials GmbH goes back to the Skyline car rental company founded in 1988 by Günter Hofbauer from Nuremberg as a sole proprietorship. The origin lay in the rental of luxury vehicles of the brands Ferrari , Rolls-Royce , Excalibur , Porsche and so-called "stretch limousines". It was one of the few passenger transport companies in Germany that accompanied music stars like Frank Sinatra , Whitney Houston , Madonna , Rod Stewart and Billy Idol on their concert tours and TV appearances. In 1992 the company name was changed to Skyline Truckpromotion and the company's focus shifted to the rental of show trucks and the conversion and expansion of semi-trailers for promotion and presentation purposes.

In 1996 the company became a GmbH and has been operating under MOST Mobile Specials GmbH since 2003.

In addition to the corporate brand MOST, the company also owns vehicle brands such as Promostar, Futuria, Futuria Boxx, Giant and Retrostar.

In 2014, the company headquarters within Fürth was relocated to Futuriastraße. The city council named Futuriastraße after the first design truck built in Fürth.

In addition to the headquarters, MOST has other production facilities. Subsidiaries and agencies with local contacts in the most important metropolises in Europe and the USA round off MOST's presence.

Development into a vehicle manufacturer

Until 2001, MOST only converts or extends existing vehicles. After that, more and more in-house developments gradually come into play, in which the collected practice and experience from the implementation of roadshows are incorporated.

From 2005 MOST introduced its own show truck brand called Promostar for the first time. This is a lightweight semitrailer concept with initially 7.5 and later up to 10.5 tons of permissible gross train weight (ZZGG). The Promostar articulated lorries are still one of the most successful MOST product lines because, due to their compactness, they can be set up in inner cities and also in smaller squares where there is limited access.

In August 2010, MOST presented the Futuria vehicle type, an aerodynamic lightweight semitrailer that was completely in-house, with the exception of the chassis of the semitrailer tractor. At the premiere of the tractor, MOST is showing for the first time an unusual and luxurious version of a so-called lifestyle semi-trailer with the name sports + spa - the yacht on wheels. It is the first articulated lorry in the world to have a roof terrace with a ship's floor look, in which a whirlpool is integrated. The trailer also has a sports car garage, a lounge for 10 people and a bunk in the intermediate deck.

MOST Mobile has been working with the Swiss climate protection organization Myclimate since 2013 : All show trucks are climate-neutral thanks to a compensation levy.

Cube: Car trailer as a quick and easy-to-set-up exhibition and information stand with a cubic look and very large advertising space.

Futuria Boxx: Infomobile / promotional vehicle with futuristic design in lightweight construction, to be driven with a class B driving license.

Promostar: Semi-trailer with a sporty look and a lightweight construction; Depending on the combination, up to 187 m² of action space is possible.

Futuria: Lightweight semitrailer with aerodynamic design; up to 11.9 tons gross vehicle weight; Trailer also available with roof terrace.

Giant: Semitrailers with a large usable area and a payload of up to 6 tons can be extended several times thanks to extendable room modules, roof terraces and awnings.

Retrostar: Extraordinarily eye-catching pickup trucks from the epochs of the 30s to 50s with original vehicle bodies and modern drivetrains.

Awards

In 2012, the partner and managing director Günter Hofbauer was awarded the Bavarian Lion for his willingness to invest at the Bavarian SME Congress.
