Motherlode was a Canadian funk - blues rock band.
history
The band initially appeared in smaller clubs and played the hits of the day. In the following years they wrote some songs and got a record deal in 1969. With the song When I die they reached number 18 on the US charts; it was her only chart success. Towards the end of 1971 the band went into the formation Dr. Music on.
