Moti Kfir

Moti Kfir ( Hebrew מוטי כפיר; * 1937 at Chula ) is a former head of the Mossad special operations department.

Life

Farmer's son and historian

He was born as a "simple farmer's son" not far from Chula , where he grew up on a farm where Kfir was early involved with sheep breeding, dairy cows and dairies.

He also holds a PhD in history from the Sorbonne University in Paris .

Mossad agent

When the assassination attempt on the Israeli Olympic team in Munich, Kfir was a member of the Mossad and a commanding officer and, as a result of the assassination attempt in Munich, headed Operation The Wrath of God in 1972 to liquidate the terrorists.

Kfir worked as the head of the Academy for Special Operations of Unit 188 of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. According to the documentary License to Kill, he was a member of the Mossad's "Kidon" group.

Businessman

Today he lives as a businessman in Tel Aviv.

Works

Kfir describes in his book “Sylvia Rafael. Mossad agent “the Israelis' campaign of revenge for the 1972 Olympic attack in Munich and describes how Mossad agents spied out and liquidated the masterminds and perpetrators. The focus is on a woman, Sylvia Rafael , whom he recruited for the job himself. Another book about the Jewish resistance during the German occupation in France in World War II and the persecution of the Jews is planned.
