Mopeds and mopeds

The M 1 is a classic moped with a two-stroke engine built under the frame with an air-cooled, lying single cylinder . The moped can be transported compactly in just a few simple steps thanks to the relatively small wheels for a moped, the high handlebars and the seat post , and so it also fit in many of the trunk compartments of cars that were common at the time , for example with a notchback .

The KS 50 is a 50 series moped .

Light motorcycles

The engines of the light motorcycles were not developed in-house, but were bought (as is common in the industry) from engine manufacturers who specialize in small two-stroke engines, here drives from Motori Franco Morini from Bologna. The upright, air-cooled single-cylinder engines correspond to the classic design. The transmissions are designed as 6-speed manual transmissions with a claw-type shifting system, which was regarded as a more noble , compared to the pull-wedge shift typical of the time . The models have a long seat and are approved for two people.

The TS 80 is a sporty designed 80s light motorcycle for the road. It is equipped with a telescopic fork , cockpit fairing, disc brake on the front axle, drum brake on the rear axle and a rear luggage rack. The seat height is 80 cm, the empty weight 85 kg. The model was available in Germany under the brand name Tornax and is still today under the brand name Kosmos . It is offered in three different versions, as a throttled 80 km / h version (light motorcycle) and also with a top speed of 110 km / h. The power is 6 kW or street legal up to 11 kW (15 HP) at 11,000 rpm with a larger carburetor.

With the RX 80 , an 80s enduro was brought onto the market, which corresponded to the then usual part of the model range of these manufacturers. The engine develops 11 kW (15 hp) at 8,000 rpm. The spoked wheels on the front and rear axles are equipped with low-maintenance drum brakes. The curb weight is 82 kg, the seat height is 89 cm. It was available in Germany under the brand name Tornax and is still available today under the name Kosmos KSR 125 E , optionally with a top speed of 80 or 100 km / h.
