Development

The Motta Naluns ski area of the same name has been developing since 1955 in the area of the former municipalities of Scuol , Ftan and Sent . During the winter season, Motta Naluns is accessible to winter sports enthusiasts and pedestrians via an 8-seater gondola lift that went into operation in 2009. In the summer months, hikers and scooter riders use the gondola lift to reach the viewing terrace. This serves as a starting point for further activities. Limited access from Ftan via Prui is possible in summer (only with a permit).

The south-facing slopes of the ski area offer a view of the Engadine Dolomites opposite with the Piz Lischana .
