Mount Barren ( English for Karger Berg ) is a 645  m (according to British data 640  m ) high mountain on the north coast of South Georgia . It rises there west of Husvik Harbor .

The mountain was probably given its descriptive name by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations between 1926 and 1930.
