Mount Brennan is a 2540 m high, domed mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It is and around 12 km northeast of Mount Cartwright the northernmost elevation of the Hughes Range .
Scientists from the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered and photographed it during so-called Flight C from February 29 to March 1, 1940. From 1957 to 1958, the geophysicist Albert P. Crary (1911–1987) took land surveys of the area in front. The mountain is named after Matthew J. Brennan, the scientific director of Ellsworth Station in 1958.
