Mount Hankey is a mountain in the northeast of Alexander I Island, west of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the eastern edge of the Rouen Mountains, it rises 10 km southeast of Mount Paris on the land-bound side of the Roberts Piedmont Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 2001 after Henry Hanky (1914-1999), in the 1950s Undersecretary in the Department for South America in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for drafting the Antarctic Treaty .
