At 710 m (according to British data 700 m ), Mount Larsen is the highest mountain on Morrell Island in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands in the South Atlantic .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it and named it in 1930. It was named after the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur and Antarctic explorer Carl Anton Larsen (1860-1924).
