Mount Morse is a 1800 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Churchill Mountains, it rises from a ridge that extends west from Mount Egerton . It is 10 km from the summit of Mount Egerton.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after the US physicist Robert M. Morse of the University of Wisconsin , who was a senior scientist in the United States Antarctic Program from 1989 to 2002, who was involved in the AMANDA project near the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station was involved.
