Mount Nirvana is the unofficial name of the tallest mountain in the Canadian Northwest Territories . Its summit is at 2773 m and it is the highest point in the Nahanni National Park . The first ascent was made in July 1965 by Bill Buckingham and Lev Surdam .
The mountain belongs to the Mackenzie Mountains , northern foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
