Granheim Castle
The Granheim castle located on the northern outskirts of Granheim towards Frankenhofen . Granheim is a district of the city of Ehingen in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg .
The castle was built on the site of an older building (first local castle ) in the 15th century by Baron Johann Baptist Nepomuk Speth von Schülzburg. It was renewed in 1776 and remained in the possession of the Barons von Speth zu Schülzburg until August 2004. The castle has a three-storey complex with a mansard roof . Marietta Freifrau von und zu Massenbach has owned the castle and the associated land since August 2004 .
