Mount Sandow is a nunatak in Queen Marie Land in East Antarctica . It towers over the Denman Glacier 18 km southwest of Mount Amundsen .

Members of the West Base in the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered him. Mawson named the Nunatak after the German strength athlete Eugen Sandow (1867-1925), a sponsor of the research trip .
