Mount Amundsen is a nunatak in Wilkesland, East Antarctica . It is east of Denman Glacier and 18 km northeast of Mount Sandow .
Members of the West Base in the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered him. Mawson named it after the Norwegian polar explorer Roald Amundsen (1872–1928).
