Mount Stewart is a 1900 m high mountain in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . In the Churchill Mountains, it rises between Mount Durnford and Mount Liard on the north flank of the McLay Glacier .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him on February 27, 2003 after the New Zealand diplomat Ian Stewart, as one of the predecessors of the New Zealand politician Jim McLay for over 12 years plenipotentiary of the New Zealand Whaling Commission.
