Mount Tennent is a 2895 m high and rocky mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Dominion Range it rises 3 km south of the Vandament Glacier .
Scientists in a campaign carried out from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him after the New Zealand politician William Blair Tennent (1898-1976), then Minister for Scientific and Industrial Research in his home country.
