The Mouydir Mountains (also: Tassili Immidir ) is a massif north of the Teffedest Mountains in Algeria .

The mountains have heights of up to 400 m. They are located about 400 km north of the provincial capital Tamanrasset and know at best occasional visitors. The prevailing Sahara landscape is characterized by numerous gorges with water-bearing oueds , lakes with a lush variety of plants, as well as closely spaced rock towers and needles in bizarre formation structures. The Arak Gorge is to the east of the mountain landscape .
