The Court Tomb of Moytirra East ( Irish Maigh Tuireadh Thoir , from Old Irish Mag Tured [ ˈmaɣˠ ˈturˠeð ]; German  "level of pillars" ; locally known as Giant's grave ) is located in Ballyfarnan, east of Lough Arrow in County Sligo in Ireland . Court Tombs are among the megalithic chamber tombs ( English chambered tombs ) of the British Isles . With around 400 specimens, they are found almost exclusively in Ulster in the north of Ireland or in Northern Ireland .

The U-shaped approximately 7.0 m long open courtyard in the northeast leads to a well-preserved gallery about 13.0 m long and 2.9 to 1.5 m wide with four chambers. The entry stones of the gallery also served as the middle stones of the courtyard, of which only one orthostat survived on the western side and two on the eastern side of the courtyard. At the outer end of this courtyard side there is a moss-covered stone and at right angles to it another low stone, which apparently were part of the facade. A stone in the entrance of the gallery divides it into two parts and another stone closes the eastern half of the entrance gap. The separations between the first three chambers were made by individual stones (stones on both sides are common), the third and fourth chambers are separated by a threshold stone ( English sillstone ). The side stones of the chambers and the end stone of the gallery survived intact and there are traces of a mound around the structure.

Nearby are the megaliths of Ballindoon .
