Mr. Moto
Mr. Moto is the fictional character of a Japanese secret agent created by the writer John P. Marquand . Marquand published six novels with Mr. Moto in the lead role between 1935 and 1957.
He is also the title character of an eight-part US film series (from 1937 to 1939) with Peter Lorre in the leading role.
In 1965 an out of sequence film followed with the title The Return of Mr. Moto ; this time the Japanese criminalist was played by Henry Silva .
Mr. Moto's first name is Kentaro .
