Mr. Tom
Mr.Tom is a candy brand . The notation of the brand does not contain a space. Mr. Tom is a caramel- coated peanut bar and is available in all grocery stores. It is manufactured by Hosta-Werk für Schokolade-Specialties GmbH & Co. KG in Stimpfach near Crailsheim , which brought it to the market in 1955 under the name Onkel Tom .
It is offered as a 13 cm long single bar, in a pack of two or as minis in a product bag. Due to the lack of milk chocolate and other animal ingredients, Mr. Tom is a candy suitable for vegans . Mr. Tom consists largely of peanuts . These contain a lot of protein and the fat they contain consists mainly of polyunsaturated fatty acids . The bar contains a high proportion of simple sugar .
Products
Various Mr.Tom branded products are currently available in stores: in single packs, packs of two or three. In addition, Mr. Tom Minis are offered.
During carnival time, the carnival societies are provided with the Mr. Tom carnival bags as throwing goods ( camels ). Another confectionery product is the Mr.Jim peanut chocolate , where in addition to the milk chocolate, crushed Mr.Tom bars are used as granules / filling.
