Muang Kham is a city in Xieng Khouang Province in Laos . It is the capital of the Kham district and is located on the main road 7, which connects Phonsavan with Nong Het and Vietnam .

The Kham District Hospital is located in Muang Kham.
Attractions
To the north of Muang Kham is the Tham Piu cave. On November 24, 1968, a bomb from a US fighter plane killed 371 people who had sought refuge in the cave because of the Vietnam War . A memorial commemorates the victims.
There are hot springs southeast of Muang Kham, on the banks of the Nam Mat River near Ban Nasok.
