Mudschtaba Husseini Shirazi

Ayatollah Mudschtaba Husseini Shirazi ( Arabic مجتبى الحسيني الشيرازي, DMG Muǧtabā al-Ḥusainī aš-Šīrāzī ; Persian سید مجتبی حسینی شیرازی; * 1943 in Karbala ) is a prominent Shiite cleric ( Ayatollah ) from Iraq . He is the brother of Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Shirazi and Grand Ayatollah Sadik Shirazi . He studied in Karbala, Najaf, Qom and Mashhad. After the Islamic Revolution in Iran, he emigrated to England .

He was a student of Ruhollah Khomeini . But he was active against him and against the new Iranian regime.
