The Muhabura (also Muhavura ) is a volcano on the border between Rwanda and Uganda and belongs to the Virunga chain. At 4127 m, the Muhabura is the third highest of the eight Virunga volcanoes . The mountain lies within the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and to a small extent in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda. The mountain is accessible to tourists from the Ugandan side. There is a small crater lake on the top .
