In 1963 the remote control MPX 101 was presented, which went into series production in 1966 and cost around 1600 DM. A special feature was the time division multiplex method of the remote control, which, in contrast to the otherwise common multi-tone method, allowed the use of four channels. This innovation also gave the company its name. Multiplex has also added model aircraft to its range since the 1970s. The glider models Fiesta , Flamingo , Alpina (produced over 10,000 times) and the working and towing model Big Lift became known in the model making scene .
