Multi-textile

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Multi-textiles are textile fabrics in which completely new materials are created from a prefabricated basic product.

This is done by stitching them over ( Malipol , Maliwatt ) or adhesively (bonding) and / or giving them a different surface made of yarns or fabrics.

Double fabrics, in which two or more layers of fabric are connected to one another by weaving technology, do not belong to the multi-textiles and thus also not to the textile composites. However, quilted fabrics belong to the multi-textiles .
