Quilted fabric

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quilted fabric , a double weave , refers to a fabric with several thread systems , with at least two chains , the real pique , a hollow weave with filling weft . As with Matelassé , the surface is determined by a fine fabric that sometimes also covers the back. The quilted fabric is not to be confused with quilted fabric .

Inside the fabric there are fillings and figure wefts made of thick, wicked material, integrated in a pattern. They stand out plastically on the fine-thread upper side.
