The Mundua , also called Ningau , is the largest island of the Mundua Islands , a small group of islands in Papua New Guinea , 100 km north of New Britain in the province of West New Britain .
The island is 5.75 km long and just under 1 km wide. It is bordered by a dense fringing reef. Immediately off the west coast of the islands is the much smaller island of Wingoru .
