Munojotxon Yo'lchiyeva

Munojotxon Yo'lchiyeva ( Cyrillic Муножатхон Йўлчиева , known by its French name monajat Yultchieva with the short form of the first name Munojot , English Munadjat Yulchieva , Russian Мунаджат Юлчиева Munadschat Jultschijewa * 26. November 1960 in Andijan Region , Uzbekistan SSR ) is an Uzbek singer and Šašmaqom - Interpreter. According to the musical style of Šašmaqom and its tradition , she also linguistically combines Uzbek with Tajik ( Persian ) in her performances .

In 1994 she was awarded the title “ People's Artist of Uzbekistan” ( Uzbek O'zbekiston xalq artisti ). In 1997 she won first place at the Sharq Taronalari International Music Festival . Muhammadjon Mirzayev (1913–1999), an old master of Uzbek music, said of Yo'lchiyeva: "Your voice is like a flying dove swaying in the warm air currents of spring."
