Murdershock is a Finnish death and thrash metal band from Helsinki and Riihimäki that was formed in 2005.
history
The band was formed in 2005. In the fall of the same year, the band began writing material for the demo The Deathsicktwist , which was released in February 2006. Around the same time, the search for a second guitarist began, who was found six months later with Jokke. After that, they worked on new songs. Meanwhile, singer Markus Mutta left the band and was replaced by Pekka Okuloff. In February 2007 the EP Inside My Insanity was released . Some live performances followed. In the fall, Jokke left the band and was replaced by Ari-Pekka "Ape". Towards the end of the year the band recorded another demo called Aborted Evolution while the band continued to perform in Finland. In 2008 the band reached a contract with Full Metal Records and recorded their debut album Reasoning Insanity , which was released in 2009.
style
The band plays an aggressive mix of classic Thrash and Death Metal, with influences from Hardcore Punk also being audible.
